If you're not in the weight room yet you can still improve your strength in ways that will upgrade your performance.  Improving your general strength is a good way to get strong and stay injury free.

Most people think strengthening their core muscles means doing crunches.  Your core is essentially your entire torso region including your lower back and hips. This area is the only thing that keeps you stable when you're running!

Lifting is a serious thing. You can make huge gains, and also sustain serious injuries if you're not lifting correctly. It's important that you know what you're doing. We'll try to cover the most important and most common lifts in this section.
